COL (USA, Ret.) Barry Hensley is the SVP/Chief Threat Intelligence Officer for Secureworks (nasdaq:scwx).

Barry has built one of the strongest, most respected security research and consulting groups in the world.

- Advises Chief Executive Officers (CEOs), Chief Information Officers (CIOs) and Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs) on latest cyber threat activity providing key recommendations on enhancing their security programs and controls.

- Educates Boards on current cyber security risks and how they should focus their efforts to reduce their organizations risk in a measurable way.

- Advises organizations around attack surface reduction, incident response and recovery, targeted threat hunting, forensics/malware analysis, and threat group analysis.

Barry's teams also works closing with the Secureworks senior security analysts embedded in their worldwide Security Operations Centers (SOC) to ensure they understand the latest threats impacting customers and have the ability to rapidly response to security incidents.

Barry is also the former Director of the Army's Global Network Operations and Security Center currently U.S. Army Cyber Command. Barry served in various leadership positions at all levels within the communications and information security career field throughout his 24-year Army career. \

Barry holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Information Systems from Georgia Southern University, a Master of Science in Telecommunications from the University of Colorado and is a graduate of the National War College.

Barry enjoys spending time with his family and is an avid fisherman. Barry and his wife, Angie and their 2 children live in Dawsonville, Georgia.
