Ben is a data scientist with more than 15 years of research and work experience in England, Japan, Germany, Sweden, and Spain. He gained industry experience working with betting markets, credit scoring applications and natural language processing. He has a record of delivering machine learning and decision models through to production systems. Before switching to the industry, Ben was working on research in machine learning problems, models of the brain, and neuroscience wet lab experiments on learning. • More than 15 years experience in R&D and software development. • Expert problem solver specialising in machine learning and decision engines for production. • PhD in CS from one of Europe's top engineering universities. • M.Sc. in Artificial Intelligence. • Certified as a project manager. • Good at communicating at all levels, and across departments and to clients; able to transfer knowledge and expertise to coworkers. • Fluent in prototyping and programming languages such as Python, Java, Kotlin and C/C++.
