Ben is a Security & Risk Management executive leader with more than 25 years of results driven experience in IT, Risk and Security developing and executing long-term strategies. Over the course of his career he has developed a proven track record of addressing current business objectives and today’s operational risks. As a business focused security executive with a data centric and risk-based approach, Ben ensures that business and information security objectives are balanced to ensure that goals are fully achieved at all levels of the organization. He is an expert at translating security requirements and aligning with business objectives, serving as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders. He is a proven crisis leader and brings a calm and thoughtful approach to incident management. Ben has driven transformation change across his career. He has developed teams at Nokia and Visa to elevate security maturity in an existing structure. At Aristocrat and Cradlepoint he has developed greenfield environments where no people, process, or technology existed to a functional and evolving global security program based on a NIST framework. Ben has experience as not only a practitioner, but also from the security vendor perspective, with executive experience at both Tenable and Qualys. Global experience, including direct management of remote / hybrid multinational & diverse teams, gives Ben a unique perspective to address information risk management, information security, privacy, governance and compliance concerns.
