20-year banking and affordable housing veteran, including 18 years in Community Development Finance, with a focus on underwriting and originating Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) and New Market Tax Credit (NMTC) equity investments and loans. Managed a 5-member team of bankers covering 8 states in the South and Midwest that annually originated $200 million of LIHTC construction and permanent financing. Experienced leading a deal through its entire life cycle including origination; underwriting; closing and documentation; construction management; permanent loan conversion; and work-out, when necessary.
