A diversity, assessment and development specialist, Professor Binna Kandola is co-founder and senior partner of business psychology firm, Pearn Kandola. With a particular interest in the study of unconscious bias, he is also the author of ‘Racism at Work: The Danger of Indifference’, as well as the critically-acclaimed 'The Invention of Difference: The story of gender bias at work' and 'The Value of Difference: Eliminating bias in organisations'. Binna is a visiting Professor at Leeds University and Aston University, a consulting editor for the Journal of Occupational and Organisational Psychology and has been recognised by The Independent on Sunday as one of the UK’s Top Ten Business Psychologists. He was awarded an OBE in 2008 for services to disadvantaged people and diversity, and is a regular contributor to the media, having appeared on Sky News, BBC Breakfast, Channel 4 News and the Radio 4 Today Show.
