It was a great pleasure arranging and moderating the Nordic Circular Economy Conference 2022 in cooperation with the Nordic Council of Ministers. I am leading the Nordic team preparing a Nordic model for monitoring of circular construction. SWITCH Africa has supported seven African countries and more than 40 value chains in introducing greener approaches. I am leading an evaluation team assessing outcomes and impact and identifying lessons learned. The UN SDGs constitute a very important framework for all countries' sustainability endeavours. Kia Egebæk and I are supporting SDG strategy development in Greenland. The new UN Guideline for Sustainable Public Procurement has just been issued. I have been external author in close cooperation with a handful of extremely competent UN people and other experts. Product Service Systems are some of the most promising circular business models and I am leading a major Nordic project on this topic 2021-2024. We are preparing a new Nordic monitoring model for waste prevention. We are supporting the Portuguese Ministry of Environment in preparing circular economy strategies for secondary raw materials, material efficiency and post-consumer waste. The UN Sustainable Development Goals provide an intriguing and motivating basis for sustainable development of countries, cities and companies. In 2019 we are supporting companies and local governments with their strategic efforts in light of the SDGs. For the Nordic Council of Ministers we have (2018) investigated how well the Nordic countries are approaching the SDG 12-targets. The Nordic guide for circular economy in municipalities has now been published - very interesting work for PlanMiljø. I have 30+ years experience with a multitude of themes and approaches under the umbrella of Sustainable Consumption and Production.
