Blanca is an experienced tech lawyer, working in the intersection between law and technology. She is now very interested in navigating through the ethical challenges that the use of technologies like artificial intelligece bring to the governance of organizations. She has practiced law advising clients in the Technology, Media and Communications sectors since the late 90s. In addition to the traditional TMT/e-commerce advice, Blanca is currently focused on advising companies from different sectors on the legal angle of their digitization processes, which includes (i) issues derived from the use of disruptive technologies like IoT, blockchain and AI/algorithms and (ii) protection of intangible assets as IP and personal and industrial data. Blanca has been appointed external DPO of relevant companies in the Spanish market. She is CIPP/E and CIPM by the IAPP. Grateful and honoured for being recommended as a TMT and Data expert by the legal directories Chambers & Partners, Legal 500 (Hall of Fame), Best Lawyers, Who's Who Legal, the Leaders' League and Media Law International.
