Bio

Bob is an Investment Manager at WIND Ventures, where he leads the firm's retail, eCommerce, and consumer technology investing. Prior to WIND, Bob was a venture investor at Soma Capital, where he invested across consumer and enterprise tech, and was a summer investment associate at Causeway, a sports and media tech-focused growth equity fund founded by the owners of the San Francisco 49ers and the Boston Celtics. Earlier in his career, he headed strategy for Verizon's go90 mobile TV app from product idea creation to product launch, and was a corporate strategy analyst for the president of eBay's global eCommerce businesses. At WIND Ventures, Bob led growth investments in Chiper (digitizing corner stores across Latin America), Yummy (Super app in several Latin American markets), and Grabango (autonomous retail checkout). He was also part of the deal teams for electric car charging startup Wallbox (IPO NYSE 2021), Zoomo (electric bike provider for the gig economy), and numerous other portfolio companies in the cleantech space. He has served as a Board Observer at Wallbox, Chiper, Yummy, and Ara Labs.
