Eight years of experience as a product manager, software engineer, entrepreneur, and team leader. I have founded two successful organizations and built a startup company from the ground up. I've experienced what it takes to build a product from scratch - performing customer discovery, developing a product specification, and leading a team behind me to get it done on time. My background in both engineering and product management enable me to bridge the gap between developers and customers to effectively deliver products that exceed expectations. My strong passion for learning allows me to quickly adapt to new technologies and challenges in management. I believe I excel most in positions that require a mix of creativity, clever reasoning, and entrepreneurial spirit. I take these aspirations with me wherever I go in the hopes of leaving the world a better place than when I found it. Computer Skills: • Most proficient in Java, Scala, C and C++. • Ample experience in using TLA+, Javascript (Nodejs & TypeScript), and Python. • Comfortable using frameworks such as Angular2/4/JS, ExpressJs, and more. • Strong knowledge of the IEEE 1588 (Precision Time Protocol) and other Time Sensitive Networking protocols. • Thorough experience in network engineering, and the construction of distributed server systems. • Continuous integration services (i.e. Jenkins, Bamboo, and TeamCity) • Extensive experience in both functional and object-oriented software design and implementation. Professional Skills: • 5 years of experience working in agile development or project/task teams. • 4 years of management experience, leading a team of 10+ developers across both a full-stack web service for Pathlete and a Java-based test tool for the UNH-IOL. • 3 years of experience pitching product ideas, developing business models, and performing customer discovery • Can lead meetings, presentations, and team-oriented tasks in an efficient and productive manner. • Capable of handling large work loads, with deliverance of useful and accurate results – along with the ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments, concepts, or technologies.
