I am a technologist at heart and enjoy teaching others about how technology works and how it can be applied to benefit people. With this mindset, I have done consulting work for some of the largest companies in the world for both sell-side and buy-side clients. My broad background and practical experience working as an engineer, manager, and executive has led me to make significant contributions in the telecommunications, manufacturing, electronics, oil field services, chemicals, and mining industries. In my most recent role as an analyst and consultant, I have written hundreds of articles and reports about business communications product and services and have regularly delivered webinars and thought leadership addresses at public and private events. My graduate work in chemical engineering focused on solving problems in thermodynamics using artificial intelligence. With the recent resurgence of interest in machine learning, I have recently completed refresher courses in machine learning and neural networks from Stanford University and deeplearning.ai. I am now ready to apply these skills coupled with my extensive engineering, consulting, and technical prowess to new challenges in any industry where digital transformation is occurring.
