Bruno Diniz is co-founder of Spiralem (a consultancy firm focused on innovation for the financial market) and Professor at USP ESALQ's MBA courses. He is also a speaker and columnist at FEBRABAN's Noomis platform, at EXAME Magazine and at Cointelegraph, a global crypto portal. After developing his career in Brazilian financial institutions and, in parallel, acting as a mentor and active participant in the startup scene in the city of São Paulo, Bruno observed the growth of the fintech movement in the world's main innovation hubs and concluded that Brazil could become a major player in this segment. Thinking of ways to foster discussions on the subject, Bruno joined a Singaporean organization called Next Money, which had presence in the major cities of the planet and was bringing together the different actors that are part of this ecosystem. Thus, he dedicated his efforts to mobilize the nascent local fintech scene and made the first event on the subject in the country in 2015, called Fintech Talks, and in the same year, São Paulo Fintech Summit. After this move, Bruno left the traditional financial market and devoted himself to innovation-oriented consulting projects for large Brazilian-based financial institutions and foreign government agencies, helping these organizations address the challenges and opportunities presented by a changing financial market. In the following years Bruno held Latin American editions of Next Money events, connected to the major Fintech Finals event in Hong Kong, and recurrently held the Fintech Talks meetup in Sao Paulo. In 2016, Bruno Diniz was named the most influential person in Brazil in the Fintech segment by the European portal INVYO Insights. In 2018, he was named Fintech's 9th most influential person in Iberoamerica by Finnovating Consulting, being the 1st among Brazilians. In 2019 he published his book “O Fenômeno Fintech”, the first book on Fintech by a Brazilian author published by Alta Books. In 2021 he launched a new book called ''A Nova Lógica Financeira'', which rapidly became a national best seller.
