Experienced journalist with a demonstrated history of working in the broadcast media industry. Joined the NBC 5 team in April 2019 as a general assignment reporter who focuses largely issues impacting the City of Dallas and Dallas County. More than a decade of breaking news coverage, in-depth interviewing, public speaking, social media management, and digital content contributions. Recipient of awards from the Associated Press and the Radio Television and Digital News Association. 2017 recipient of National Association of Broadcasters Service to Community Award for the documentary ''Black and Blue,'' which explored the relationship between local law enforcement and black communities.
