I hold a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems and a Master's degree in Information Security. I started my career as a software developer building projects for various private companies. Afterward, between programming and setting up different types of network infrastructure, I decided to move into the professional world of information security in which I already have more than 15 years of experience as a semi-senior security specialist, I have participated in information security projects in Latin America and had the opportunity to obtain several international certifications. One of my passions is to share knowledge with others about cybersecurity, this motivated me to become an instructor in topics related to pentesting, platform hardening, application security, and network security. Along this path of professional projects and sharing knowledge in the cybersecurity community, I have made research where some of these have allowed me to be a speaker at international conferences such as BlackHat USA, ISC2 Latam Congress, BSides SATX, ESET Security Day, OWASP Latam Tour, Cybersecurity Bank & Government, and others. Actually, I'm working at VU Security as a Security Research. I conduct research, test security products, develop tools, and publish articles on different information security topics.
