My first interest is building people up. Seeing them succeed is what really motivates me. I advocate for women in cybersecurity by turning my energy towards creating opportunities for them. Our 100 Women in 100 Days Cybersecurity Career Accelerator program is developing security experts for the companies across the world that need to fill their open positions with skilled professionals. The program provides these women with free education, hand-on experience, and accreditation needed to obtain the top industry certifications. The participating partners in this program get the first choice of entry-level professionals who graduated from the program. It's a win-win situation. My professional expertise includes leading global teams, projects, programs, and companies in high-tech, retail, insurance, and healthcare industries. My career started in Silicon Valley, managing Jumbotron implementations for Sony, and continued with IT leadership roles for dot.coms, including established companies such as SRI International, Trimble, CEA, USC Norris School of Medicine and California Medical Association.
