Caroline Paulick-Thiel is a strategic designer, experienced in developing and leading participatory processes to address public challenges. Since 2015, she is the director of politicsfortomorrow.eu, a non-partisan initiative that promotes public transformation and collaborates with political-administrative institutions from the local to the highest federal level in Germany. The current flagship project 10x100.cc addresses the period between 2022-2025 as a drastic intervention space for which learning-centred management approaches are needed to coordinate for major upgrades and #earth4all. As part of the Smart City core team, she supports the Senate Chancellery of Berlin and CityLAB in the design and implementation of strategie.smart-city-berlin.de. For the creativebureaucracy.org festival, Caroline initiated the Academy, which since 2018 has provided space for experiential learning and creative responses to public issues. In addition, she is a member of various advisory boards and teaches oeffentliches-gestalten.de in different disciplines.
