I’m an engineer, a leader, a manager, an energy professional with 20 years’ experience, a risk management and regulatory specialist, a Superstar of STEM. An inclusive leader, I pride myself on my ability to lead, motivate, and counsel teams to find solutions to practical problems. An experienced engineer, I am a true specialist in offshore regulatory, environmental management, risk management, process safety and commercial operations. I am known for my ability to advocate with regulators and find mutually beneficial outcomes for all stakeholders including community, business and government. I have a passion for renewable energy in general and offshore wind in particular. I'm the Project Development Manager for Flotation Energy's offshore wind project ''Seadragon'' off the Gippsland coast, an incredibly exciting project which will power over 1 million homes with clean, renewable wind energy. I have extensive experience working in the regulatory space for offshore energy, and have led teams to meet all the regulatory requirements for Esso’s Bass Strait operations, including safety cases and environment plans for 23 offshore facilities and multiple drilling rigs. I also led Esso's Commercial Operations team, managing gas supply from Longford Plants, overseeing the activities of the Global Gas Operations team in Budapest and negotiating gas transport and storage contracts with third party operators. I joined Esso Australia Pty Ltd as a graduate in 2002 and moved through the ranks quickly, gaining exposure and experience in a number of different roles including Commercial Manager, Offshore Regulatory Manager, Risk and Process Safety Advisor, Pipelines Engineer, Facilities Surveillance Engineer, Project Scoping Engineer and OIMS (Safety Management System) Coordinator. I’m passionate about inclusion and diversity, smashing gender stereotypes and showing girls the amazing things engineers do every day
