Dr.S.Chandrasekhar is currently Sr Professor at IFIM Business school B''Lore & also Director-Business Analytics Centre at IFIM. Prior to joining IFIM he was Professor & also Officiated as Director( during April 2009-Jan 2010) at FORE School of Management, New Delhi. He joined FORE SCHOOL in July 1998 as Senior Professor and later on became chair professor Director-IT and subsequently Director(Officiating). He also headed the software development at Fore School of Management which developed proto type of products in the area of Business Analytics , AI / Machine learning ,Risk Management,Customer Relations Management.He has a total of about 40 years of experience in R&D,Academic & Industry in the area of IT and Quantitative Methods. In the year 2010 he has been awarded the prestigious NASSCOM-DEWANG MEHTA national award for Best teacher in IT among mgmt Institutes in the country. One of remembered professor of IIM Lucknow at Silver Jubliee celebrations , Among TOP Ten Analytics Professors in the country by Analytics India magzine in 2017 & 2018. Prior to this he worked at Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow for about ten years as Professor in the area of Computers & information Systems. Was also the area Chair Quantitative & Information Systems Group , Admissions Chairman & Member Governing Board of IIM Lucknow. Holds a B Tech,M.tech from IIT Kanpur & Doctorate from University of Georgia Worked in the area of Business Analytics Forecasting , Simulation, AI/Machine learning Also a regular speaker in quite a few reputed Institutes like IITM, IIM,IIFT,RBI Training College,National Insurance Academy National Institute Of Bank mgmt etc. Professor S.Chandrasekhar has conducted a number of Management Development Programs in the area of Data Integration , Data Mining & text mining,Predictive Analytics ,Machine Learning and Computer vis Consultant to various industries in the area of Business Analytics , Demand Forecasting ,Text and Sentiment Analysis & Computer Vision.. Founding Director of two start up companies at IIT Kanpur incubated by SIDBI in the area of Risk Mgmt.
