Bio

In late 2018, I completed my PhD in Chemistry, with a focus in biomaterials and nanoarchitectonics. My PhD career is defined by a demonstrated history of teaching excellence, a broad and well-rounded knowledge base, and a uniquely varied scientific skillset. I am highly proficient in biomaterials research and biophysical analytics, with key competencies in: peptide synthesis and self-assembly, DNA-peptide hybridization, alpha-helical and coiled-coil assemblies, nanoarchitectonics, electron microscopy, small and wide angle x-ray scattering, circular dichroism, and complex data analysis. I am a skilled public speaker, and the recipient of two teaching awards from Emory University's Department of Chemistry. Overall, I am a strong research professional, teacher, and scientist with excellent communication skills and a passion for team-oriented success. I now work as an integral part of the growing US Applied Sciences team for Leeds-based Lhasa Limited. As an Applied Scientist, I am here to facilitate members’ needs in order to promote scientific progress. Above all, I most appreciate the opportunity to work for, and alongside Lhasa’s members to help achieve their unique scientific goals. Beyond the scientific scope, I value forging meaningful and robust relationships with exceptional researchers across an immense array of disciplines.
