Bio

I have the immense pleasure of helping amazing people do incredible things and celebrating their success. This currently means assisting customers with deploying and managing machine learning workloads on Kubeflow and continuously engaging with them to ensure they are setup for long term success. To be successful as a solutions architect, I believe I must continuously improve not only my technical skills, but skills to ensure people are being heard and their problems are being solved. I have always loved working with technology and people. In college, I spent summers helping kids develop and modify their favorite video games at the ID Tech summer camp. I then went to be a Quality Assurance (QA) tester for the Call of Duty®: WWII video game and experienced firsthand the toil in manually testing software. The amount of manual processes and human capital required to get a game production ready is what drove me towards my current career path. I wanted to help people use technology to create and innovate instead of checking boxes or carrot feeding unstable systems. I took a job within Insight’s Cloud and Data Center Transformation practice as a Research and Innovation Hubs Lab Engineer. I was introduced to Kubernetes and realized it aligned well with my mission to reduce operational exertion by leveraging automation. I achieved the CKA, CKAD, CKS, and Cloud Native Master specialist certifications. I ended up meeting and exceeding numerous client and partner expectations while working with industry leading Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), to deliver complex multi-vendor solutions from a wide array of IT systems. The upshot of getting up to speed so quickly was being offered the Solutions Architect role. I then used my Kubernetes and architect experience to secure a role at Arrikto where I am now pursuing data science workflow education similar to how I pursued my Kubernetes certifications. My passion for learning is fueled by my passion to help people achieve whatever they are looking to achieve. I have had the opportunity to share my findings and perspective at multiple technical conferences and meetups as well as within various open source communities. Topics include GitOps, Containers, Linux, cross team collaboration, operators, and Cloud Native Computing Foundation projects such as Kubernetes and Kubeflow.
