Chris J. Guerra is the co-CEO at Blue Acorn iCi, a digital customer experience company. Since joining in 2012 as the first sales and marketing hiring, he’s merged Blue Acorn, BrandShop, iCi Digital, and Mediotype and established a new sales infrastructure to attract and retain the leading companies in the world. As co-CEO, his responsibilities include lead generation, channel development, new and existing client sales, and managing a leadership team with an average tenure of seven years. Chris led the acquisition of Blue Acorn iCi to Infosys for 125 million in 2020 and continues to lead the business with his business partner Greg Boone. Guerra previously served as the AVP of eCommerce at the BORN Group. As the second employee, he helped establish their business model that attracted logos like Ferragamo and Tag Heuer. By the end of his tenure, he grew the commerce division from $0 to $15 million in revenue. To gain international experience, Guerra spent time working for Portalis AG and managed operations, marketing, and sales for US portals such as eFurniture and Fashion USA. In 2008, Guerra founded the company BrandOrders, which automated the antiquated B2B wholesale buying process and attracted 250 brand and retail users. Earlier in his career, Guerra served as the VP of Business Development & Strategic Initiatives, where he pioneered and managed StarStyle.com. StarStyle.com enables users to buy products featured in television, music, and film. He later translated the idea into Facebook and used product-linking technology to allow users to tag products in photos. Guerra continues to present at industry tradeshows and events, including Magento Imagine and webinars with Forrester. Guerra grew up across the country, exposed to the retail industry through family involvement at Barney's NY & Nike. He holds a bachelor in business administration and marketing from Florida Atlantic University.
