I have strong experience working in rapid growth industries and I enjoy fast paced operations environments and leading projects that require solid change management, employee development and process improvement. I have worked international assignments in both Europe and Asia as well as several manufacturing and distribution facility start-ups in the US and am very comfortable with the pace and lifestyle working in high volume manufacturing and distribution companies. My experience is mainly in CE manufacturing and distribution, but held a 2 year operations executive position with a privately held wholesale culinary herb / hydroponic green-house business. In all of those positions we were on very tight deadlines and very strict deliverables. Currently I head up operations in a high volume, same day ship environment and am very proud of being able to support that. My career has developed by my willingness to take on difficult assignments in various operations roles. Specialties: I have a strong background in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma application to process improvements. I am also very successful in building and developing leadership teams. However, I feel my specialty is bringing order to high-stress / high-complexity operational environments. I can bring order to problematic areas of an business unit. I have also enjoyed working overseas and would like the opportunity to work again in Europe.
