At a time of significant change and drive towards innovation, population health management and solutions which will support best use of NHS resources whilst empowering individuals I have decided to go solo once more and aim to bring my depth and breadth of skill to much needed transformation, which always sits in the hard box! Given the huge burden that wound and lymphoedema management create for the system I maintain my interest in this area. I am hugely excited to be involved in the rebirth of primary care and general practice together with the impact of health ownership by the general public. It’s a hard road we travel but we must persist. My career has been one of significant variation and diversity from early days of teaching, through sales and marketing in the pharmaceutical industry to previously running my own consultancy in health and change for 35 years to Commercial and Business Development Director for Accelerate. In all my years of driving change being part of something that not only changes patients lives but empowers staff and saves precious NHS £££’s is something I have always been striving to achieve. Essentially I’m open for business and supporting the NHS through transformation is my goal.
