Bio

I am a leader with ten years of experience leading small teams of 5-10 involved in customer-facing roles and projects, such as information security assessments. Security has been the focus of my research and activities for the past 15 years and I believe its importance extends beyond the SOC. Everyone should possess some understanding of it. This is a topic I discuss at conferences and with local security professionals. In my free time, I pursue my interests by volunteering at conferences like BSides (Indy and Detroit), Circle City Con, Converge Detroit, and CodeMash. I also speak at these conferences and locally at #misec meetings. I am heavily involved with #misec in Jackson, MI, where I handle the recording and archiving of the presentations.
