I am a Security Researcher at AWS. Before that, I was a PhD candidate at the Coresec group at the Institute of Applied Information Processing and Communications (IAIK) at Graz University of Technology. My research focuses on two major points: discovering new microarchitectural attacks and protecting the interface between an operating system and the applications running on top of it. For the latter, I mostly focus on compiler-assisted mitigations and efficient Linux kernel modifications. Previously, I was a security research intern in the Architecture and Technology Group at ARM.
