I am a designer, dance artist and creative technologist, based in London. In my design practice, I have extensive experience in Service design, User research, Interaction design, UX/UI. While often in charge of leading and managing large, complex and high-risk projects, I am also very hands-on and able to apply my design skills from strategy to delivery. Recent achievement is the design and delivery of the new web platform and digital services for the Metropolitan police. From the definition of the vision for how the public would interact with the police in the future, to the delivery of new digital services, including the required organisational changes. In my artistic practice, I create work for galleries, the stage, and more unconventional sites, in the form of interactive installations, audio-visual experiences and performances. I specialise in creating participative experiences that sometimes verges towards social experiments. My background in engineering and interaction design, combined with my experience as a performer gives me a unique perspective when working with dance and technology to create playful and immersive experiences. Currently doing: - Launching new creative projects with Unwired Dance Theatre, including work in web XR, mocap and immersive audio. - Lecturer at Goldsmiths University, teaching UX, Intro to Computing and Creative Computing projects. - Part of a research programme at Goldsmiths University, in partnership with Akram Khan Dance Company, exploring the application of motion-capture technology in telematic and virtual dance performance. - Consulting on design projects, under a contract with Reason (Levi's & BBC)
