In 2017, Conor co-founded Pier Asset Management, a firm providing institutional investors with access to the alternative lending asset class via private funds. As a liquidity provider, the investment strategies focus on the secondary market, creative credit facilities, and other niche access-driven opportunities in the asset class. In 2012, Conor launched a series of private income funds within Evolution, investing in consumer and small business loans targeting a high, steady yield using various marketplace lending platforms such as Lending Club, Prosper, and Funding Circle. Conor has a decade of experience trading Asian markets and also was responsible for managing technology integration into the investment process at Evolution. Conor joined Evolution at inception in 2002 and has played an integral role in building out several of the firm’s arbitrage, event driven and volatility strategies that cover markets across Asia. Conor additionally worked to develop much of Evolution’s initial operations and technology infrastructure, and has developed proprietary statistical risk models across multiple Evolution funds. Conor graduated with a B.S.E. in Computer Science from Princeton University in 2002. Conor was a member of the basketball team, the Tiger Inn, and Chi Phi.
