'Reinvent Mobility, reinvent yourself''. This is not only the Mission of EDAG, where I serve as CEO, it is also my very own intrinsic motivation. My excitement for the whole mobility environment paired with my inner desire for continuous improvement drives me day by day. Why such a fascination for Mobility? Mobility means freedom to me. Freedom to go wherever and however you want. Enjoying engineering performance at its best - from maximized efficiency to excellent design. As leader in the automotive industry and as driver of its transformation, I see my duty to form talents, to create the space for new ideas and to foster innovation. I believe that chronologically it is not the autonomous systems that pave the way to success; first, we need autonomously thinking people that help to create an integrated, connected and efficient mobility. My excitement for technology and engineering started already in my early 20ies back in Rome, where I got my master degrees in Computer Science Engineering and in Business Engineering. At St. Gallen Business School and Harvard Business School I improved my knowledge about finance and strategic management. I started my career in 1998 at Daimler in the R&D in Stuttgart, barely speaking German, but fuelled by my passion for the automotive industry. From 2001 to 2018 Altran taught me about the pleasures of working for an engineering service provider, where enormous speed, different cultures and a huge market competition determine the daily business and contribute to exceed your own challenging goals. Leading the worldwide automotive business and serving as CEO for Germany and Eastern Europe taught me many valuable lessons. In 2018 I joined the EDAG Group as Group CEO, where I drive with huge passion the digital transformation of the company together with open minded and extreme competent colleagues.
