My absolute passion is facilitating partnerships and our own direct and indirect investments to support the growth of emerging companies. I founded Caason Group in 1999 and have 30+ years’ experience in agriculture; exploration, mining and energy; environmental technologies; IT; fintech and telecommunications. This is underpinned by substantial experience in international trade. With significant experience in large scale agribusiness, in 2015 I led Caason Group’s purchase of Aileron Station in the Northern Territory (NT) and more recently in 2021 strategically acquired the Oolloo Farm to establish our dominance as a leading Agri-tech adopter and landowner in the NT with over 412,000 hectares in total now under management. As a blue-sky thinker and technology early adopter; when others say “we can’t do that”, my response is “this is how I can see this working”. With up to 30 active projects underway at any given time, I draw on my extensive professional network of fellow sophisticated investors, entrepreneurs and world-wide game changers. Additionally, I have taken the lead role in several ASX Iistings, takeovers, mergers, rights issues and placements during my career.
