I have been developing software for nearly three decades professionally (and longer than that for the pure geekiness of it). I am the author of Spring in Action (now in its 6th edition), Build Talking Apps for Alexa, Spring Boot in Action, and Modular Java. Specialties: Seasoned Java programmer with an emphasis on enterprise Java technologies, the Spring Framework, Kubernetes, Javascript, and voice-first applications for Alexa and Google Assistant.
