CS Freeland is a multi-disciplinary entrepreneur. She created the Austin Venture Crawl, the largest gathering featuring venture capitalists in Texas history— now statewide, and named the Texas Venture Crawl. At the age of 32, she was also the youngest Executive Director of a Venture Association in the United States while cofounding and launching the Austin Venture Association. The next year, she accepted an “Organization of the Year” award from the Austin Asian Chamber of Commerce recognizing her work in the local Asian community. Outside of startups and venture, CS is a World Economic Forum Global Shaper who spoke at Davos, a multi-award winning political advisor for three successful Texas mayoral campaigns, and 13-year Austinite.
