R&D physicist specializing in the use of optics as an enabling technology for diverse applications such as active remote sensing (e.g. LADAR), DWDM telecommunications (e.g. integrated optics), and quantum coherent phenomena. Additional interests include medical and biological applications of optics. Specialties: Airborne laser radar (ladar) system design and operation, integrated optics design, creation of numerical models of physical phenomena, experiment design and construction and analysis.
