Bio

My passion and interests are centered around information security; in particular mobile security and privacy. I built a decentralized mesh network in rural Somaliland using The Open Technology Institute's Commotion Firmware. The network ran local applications apart from the greater internet making the school less reliant on access to the outside world. I have ample experience in technology education, training and event facilitation. Open culture,open tech and security are some of my major focus areas. I thrive on travel, education, and using technology as a catalyst for social change.
