An environmental sustainability technologist and Life Cycle Analysis specialist. I’ve 10+ years’ experience developing novel technologies and methods and applying research expertise to progress and enable tangible, positive environmental sustainability strategies. I am passionate about technology and its application to meaningful issues, particularly environmental sustainability, inequalities and social issues. I founded and lead measurable.energy (2018) and Qingtech (2013). measurable.energy's goal is to eliminate wasted energy and GHG emissions in buildings and inspire people to positively impact environmental sustainability. It's a Machine Learning and IoT system, featuring our own m.e Power Socket to collect data and enable ML and control. With Qingtech (R&D) I’ve developed and led projects with the Google, Telstra, BBC, Microsoft, The United Nations, and others to establish scientific rigour and create new ways to positively impact sustainability by using technology. In particular, I’ve developed scientifically validated methodologies and approaches to measuring cloud computing services environmental impact.
