At EPIC, our mission is to learn from lived experience and take the problem out of gambling. In my role as the Director of Safer Gambling for EPIC Risk Management I combine my lived experience with gambling related harm alongside my years in learning and development to provide class leading training and consultancy programmes to the gambling industry. Using hard hitting real life stories about addiction, gambling, substance misuse and mental health disorders, my team and I will bring a message that your teams will never forget. We work with big name clients in the industry providing consultation, training and coaching to improve compliance, best practice and employee wellbeing. As well as having lived with a gambling addiction for 16 years I have 15 years experience in the food retail industry working at various levels from the shop floor to regional HR management. I spent 4 years as a Business Performance Coach managing financial and operational KPI's for Morrisons across 20 supermarkets in the South Coast before deciding to change careers in order to work with the gambling industry to promote safer gambling practices.
