Bio

I lead the excellent graphics team at open-source consultancy Collabora, where we help our clients with the Linux graphics stack from top to bottom, including kernel/hardware drivers, window systems, and clients. We help our customers ship great products, making sure upstream get the full benefit at the same time: no throwaway forks which don't help upstream, no huge vendor-specific islands which mean our customers can't upgrade or move to a different platform. Currently I work on Wayland/Weston, Mesa and specifications within Khronos, DRM/KMS for display in the kernel, and more. I've also previously worked on X11/X.Org (for over a decade), GStreamer, Clutter/Cogl, Chromium, WebKit, and more. Specialties: Wayland, Weston, Vulkan, OpenGL, OpenGL ES, EGL, DRM, KMS, graphics drivers, X11, X.Org, Linux kernel, GStreamer, Clutter, GTK+, WebKit
