'I seek to understand so that I can be an advocate and empower people to liberation. My purpose is to create space, connection, and growth. Space for understanding ultimately creates transformational experiences, and none of this happens without putting people first.'' - Danisha As Head of Client Inclusivity & Impact for Digitas North America, Danisha Lomax takes pride in developing programs that focus on authenticity, cultural impact, and advocacy for women of color. In this position, she works to further establish Digitas as a leader in the DE&I and CSR space and engage with clients to drive a thoughtful strategy to create a more inclusive work in-market for their consumers. Her ability to bolster brands via social is next to none, and earlier this year, her work co-created with our client, Sephora, culminated with an HBO Max premiere of the film ''The Beauty of Blackness''— a powerful documentary that tells the story of Fashion Fair Cosmetics, the first brand to create a line of cosmetics specifically for women of color. The film won Tribeca Film Festival's, Tribeca X Award, amongst other industry awards. In her new role, Danisha will continue to serve as Publicis Groupe's San Francisco VivaWomen of Color chapter (BRG) lead and the executive sponsor of Digitas' Multicultural Center of Excellence. This collective sits at the intersection of culture and identity, with a focus on bringing inclusion, equity, and justice to the work. Prior to Digitas, Danisha held positions at Wells Fargo, eDriving, and AKQA. With over 15+ years of experience in media, Danisha's approach has won her multiple awards, including Campaign US' Media Planner of the Year (2021), Chief Marketer's Market like a Mother award (2021), and Cynopsis' Top Women in Media (2020), among others. It doesn't stop there; A proponent of ''a little change to have some fun,'' she keeps everyone on their toes by changing her hair and nails every other week. And when her father comments, ''why?'' she simply reminds him that it's a part of her brand and building brands is her job. Danisha also serves in various volunteer roles, and most importantly, she's the proud mom and spirit guide to Kamaiyah and Ke'aun.
