I am a Business Improvement Specialist with Prince2 & Lean Project Management experience (LCS certified). I have over seven years experience of turning around under performing teams, removing waste, increasing productivity, managing change and re-engineering processes. I thrive in a busy and challenging environment, where I need to manage stakeholders of all levels and try to get the best out of cross functional teams. I am also CMI (Chartered Management Institute) certified, previously a member of the British Computer Society (BCS). Currently, a member of the Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH). I'm a confident, enthusiastic and effective communicator, with excellent presentation skills which, I utilise when raising the profile of the teams and projects that I'm managing. My background in Housing and Local Government gives me a solid analytical foundation which, I put to use in developing project plans, master schedules and ensuring projects are delivered on time and on budget. My project work gives me a good understanding of managing clients and the commercial and operational side of Project Management. As a serving local authority councillor I have proven leadership skills and regularly deploy these whilst working within a continuous improvement environment.
