Dave is a leader, innovator and mentor in the developer relations community. Currently he heads up Community at MongoDB as Senior Director of Developer Relations. Previously he held Developer Community & Developer Advocacy roles at Harness ('23), Dremio, ('21), Traceable.ai ('21), Redis ('20), Intel ('16), Platform D/CloudCamp ('15), Strikeiron ('08) and PayPal ('03-'06). From 2008 - 2015 Dave provided Developer Relations consulting services to help companies such as Aerospike, Couchbase, HP Cloud, Cloud.com (CloudStack), Mode Media, Wetpaint and Metamarkets where he led efforts to engage developers in ways that would lead to platform, API or open source project adoption. During this time, Dave co-founded and ran CloudCamp, one of the first events/communities to help developers around the world learn about Cloud Computing. Some example presentations: 1.
