Dave Belanger has over 25 years of experience in Security and Technology Leadership roles. He has served as Chief Security Officer, Chief Information Security Officer and as an Information Security Officer for over a decade. His roles have been in Insurance, healthcare, public safety, corrections and telecom. He was the Data Center Manager for a large telecom company, providing Operational and Physical Security for over 8 years. He was on the front lines of a technology company serving the public safety community acting as Information Security Officer for over 7 years. Dave has been the Chief of Security at both Healthcare and Insurance companies. He is an active member in security and technology organizations such as CISOXC, The CISO Society, Infragard, Cybersecurity Collaboration Forum, ISSA, SIMDFW, ASIS and DFW Collaborators and is actively engaged in the Cyber Security community as a volunteer, mentor, advisor and speaker for events such as FutureCon, Data Connectors, SecureWorld, Innotech, Elevate Exchange and CISO-XC.
