Bio

I am passionate about science, technology, innovation and teamwork. I strive to walk the talk in everything I do. I am presently a Machine Learning Engineer at Meta. I previously worked as Chief Data Scientist, Director, and Software Engineer in the high-tech industry. I co-founded the Blue Planet Analytics product line (2016), and I was inducted Distinguished Engineer for spearheading Big Data and Artificial Intelligence technologies at Ciena Corporation (2021). In the first part of my career, I worked as a particle physicist at Stanford Linear Accelerator Center (USA) and CERN (Switzerland), notably, where I got substantial hands-on experience with big data engineering, data science and world-class research.
