I have the privilege of leading the Data & Analytics division of LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group) and of being the Chief Executive of Refinitiv, one of the world’s largest providers of data, insights and technology to financial markets. I joined LSEG in January 2021 on the completion of its acquisition of Refinitiv – the company I helped establish out of the Financial and Risk division of Thomson Reuters in 2018. My goal is to help LSEG’s 25,000-strong team create a better world for our customers and society. We do this by building stronger, more open and more sustainable financial markets, driving growth I sit on the World Economic Forum’s Banking Governors Board and the Advisory Council of TheCityUK, and chair the UK Treasury’s India UK Financial Partnership. I am also a member of the UK Government’s Trade Advisory Group for Financial Services. One of my passions is helping young people get the right start in life and finding the next generation of leaders. I am a trustee for Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity, serve as an ambassador for the mentoring charity Urban Synergy. I am also a dad, husband, part-time rugby coach, keen skier and aspiring sailor.
