A technologist at heart, I started looking into computers and IT because I wanted to understand how things work. I have both a hands-on and a studious mentality and the marvel of creating new things or pushing boundaries using technology still drives me to this day. An expert in the field of DLT, I often find myself in the solutions architect role, designing architecture for development projects and working on the build. I pride myself in my general knowledge in this area and have led global and local strategy for my current company. Being known to be one of the points of reference for DLT, I have heavily influenced thought-leadership and been lucky enough to speak at many public events (some with quite large audiences). A certified developer in both the DAML smart contract language and Corda DLT platform, I am a strong believer that there is always more to learn. Other areas I have been working in for many years are: Cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure), Big Data, AI and SRE/Devops. I am also a certified GCP Professional Cloud Architect who is constantly looking for new/cutting edge technologies when working as an Architect or designing solutions. As well as my work around innovation project strategy and development I have over 15 years experience working in management roles, including as a Team Lead and Scrum Master.
