With over 30 years' experience in innovative applications design, I have founded and served as CEO for FinTech, Software as a Service (SaaS) and mobile companies with great success. As the founder and CEO of AgUnity in 2016, a ‘tech for good’ venture applying blockchain and smartphone technology to improve the lives of small farmer cooperatives in developing nations, AgUnity and myself have been the recipients of dozens of awards including the global Agripreneur of the year in 2018. 2021 has seen the creation of an innovative special project to close the gap between farmer and consumer. I also have 9 years of experience in designing blockchain, cryptography and decentralized data sharing protocol technology from the ground up and is considered a leading voice on the use and deployment of blockchain technology internationally, most specifically the impact that trust, digital identity and financial inclusion have on developing world communities. AgUnitys’ global technology platform empowers thousands of organizations working toward the UN Sustainable Development Goals to connect with ‘the last mile’ farmers and communities. This customised smartphone & OS solution serves as a technological ecosystem; providing the people living and working with remote food supply chains with practical, accessible tools to connect, establish effective lines of communication and ensure an ethical, accountable means of trade.
