I am a serial entrepreneur and technologist who started coding at 14, launched my first business at 19, and made by first angel investment before age 30. Including my companies, my portfolio, and my clients I have been involved in multiple exits as a founder, investor, advisor and team member. My start in artificial intelligence came in the late 1990s on a project for NASA while they were launching the International Space Station and continued through my company EasySeat where predictive models were a key part of our successful scaling and exit. In my broad-ranging experience as an entrepreneur, investor, and consultant, I have worked in Group Travel, Telemarketing, Digital Out of Home Advertising, Light Manufacturing, Digital Marketing, Occupational Therapy, e-Commerce, Retail, Non-Profit, Ticketing, Sports & Entertainment, Public Agencies, Alternative Asset Management, Consumer Services, and Professional Services and bring domain-specific knowledge to these industries. In addition, I am still deeply passionate about product and technology and love getting in the weeds with our portfolio founders on the amazing technology they are building. I am happy to share my experience with budding entrepreneurs at the Jindal School of Management at the University of Texas at Dallas as well as social entrepreneurs at the United Way Social innovation accelerator. I try to respond to all request, so please feel free to reach out if you're interested in AI, startups, early stage investing, or entrepreneurship.
