I am Deutsche Telekom’s Programme Lead for the European Aviation Network, delivering the world’s first hybrid satellite and 4G network for airline passenger connectivity. Prior to playing a major role in forging the partnership that brought about the new innovation project, I joined DT in 2009, leading several international rollout programmes - helping drive innovation across DT's European footprint. My team is working relentlessly to deliver #morethanjustWiFi, which for me means superior airline passenger experience, making log-on and usage of the services pain-free for the passengers, and driving revenues for our airline customers. As projects such as the European Aviation Networks are complex in nature and involve partners with a broad variety of backgrounds and goals, #collaboration is a major success factor - it's a topic I follow with great enthusiasm. My pre-DT career involves wired and wireless ISPs across Europe, an MSc in Computing - and - in darker times - a period of writing copy for Germany's book-of-the-month club.
