An active member of the NRF CIO Council, Supply Chain Council and member of eCommerce Operations Summit advisory group, having over 25 years of progressive professional experience in Retail IT, and over 20 years in Supply Chain. From May 2019 throughout 2022, has been with New York & Co (acquired by Saadia Group) at the forefront of transforming Saadia's Technical ecosystem and the Supply Chain operations to meet the fast-growth demands of the company’s portfolio of direct-to-consumer and wholesale businesses, which include Lord & Taylor, Aquatalia, Le Tote, New York & Co., and several private label brands. Over the past 10 years, David has helped Gymboree, Modell's Sporting Goods and New York & Company as they faced declining mall traffic, and imperiled store profitability, to restructure their IT and supply chain fulfillment infrastructure to become digitally focused. The eCommerce, cloud-based and outsourced infrastructures put in place during this timeframe became critical enablers to each company successfully emerging from bankruptcy and operating a successful digital-only presence today. From David's early education and progressive career development in technology, coupled with his 9-years spent as a leader in Deloitte's Supply chain practice, he has obtained unique depth and breadth of experience in both supply chain operations and technology. He has worked directly with C-level executives for over 20 companies to lead large-scale IT implementations that span the entire Retail footprint, along with envisioning and enabling supply chain strategy and distribution center improvements. He is an expert in establishing best-in-class global IT delivery teams. David has established himself as an effective and trusted business partner within a diverse range of company cultures, and has a knack for bringing fun and energy to the boardroom as freely as he does within his own teams.
