David Verbitsky is a 15+ year experienced finance and entrepreneurial professional specializing in the Food & Agriculture sector. David has spent the majority of career in investment banking, currently as Head of AgTech & Sustainable Food investment banking at Nomura Greentech, and previously as Head of Agriculture & Nutrition investment banking at Goldman Sachs. David has also been involved in the Food & Agriculture venture ecosystem, with prior roles including: - Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Spaceship Earth Ventures, an early-stage venture capital fund investing in Agri-Food Tech. - Strategic Advisor to Thought For Food, a leading global digital community dedicated to next-gen innovators and entrepreneurs focused on Agri-Food Tech. - CFO of Invaio, an AgTech startup focused on innovative biological crop protection technology. - Multiple other roles at AgTech and Sustainability-driven start-ups David has dedicated hear career to pursuing his passions in agriculture, healthier & cleaner food, environmental sustainability, ESG issues and impact investing.
