I like to start, build and grow things. I've co-founded and/or been at the earliest stages of six venture-backed companies, five of which I led as CEO, four (so far) that successfully exited in sales to much larger companies, and some grown into $100+ million, highly profitable businesses. I've also co-founded non-profits serving over 50% of all children with a kidney transplant. I enjoy working with smart, passionate people to solve challenging but meaningful problems. The solutions I've helped design often expose and utilize data in innovative ways to bring transparency to markets, thereby making them less costly (time, money, frustration) for the primary participants. I get particularly jazzed working on large-scale problems that produce tangible societal benefit.
