As an avid traveller and lover of coffee, I take great pleasure from remote working in coffee shops around the world! I have perfected my remote working skill over the last 7 years and now come as a fully accountable, conference call master. As you can imagine, this skill has been vital throughout the Covid-era as it enabled a smooth, overnight transition for my team into the digital office. I have a tendency to automate and simplify manual processes to reduce the time I spend on mundane tasks because they tend to be rather boring. Process improvement is in my nature. My exposure to start-up life has challenged me to work outside of my comfort zone and has led to me upskilling in areas such as email marketing, strategic decision making and conversion rate optimisation to name a few. My client-facing roles have allowed me to understand the value of qualitative feedback which I have been able to blend with more quantitative data to provide key analysis of website traffic and thus manage the implementation of new features, more efficient user journeys and increase conversion. In my customer success capacity, the smooth blend of all of the above has allowed me to understand the best success plays to make and when to make them. More recently, my move into the partnerships world has allowed me to bring a very client-orientated approach to my role whilst allowing me to take people for lunch in some awesome restaurants around the UK. From the age of 12, I was involved with the Army Cadet Force rising to compete against the Top 20 UK Cadets in 2018 before moving onto the University Officer Training Corps. Teaching in Uganda and Cambodia motivated me to complete a Masters in Politics, Philosophy, and Management. However, I wanted to get my hands dirty and learned historic masonry in America over multiple summers giving me work experience across multiple continents, cultures and industries. My experiences have led me to be naturally curious about almost everything. My curiosity drives me to continuously develop my skill sets, seek to understand other views and expand my knowledge to help improve any processes I work with. I value being surrounded by a strong and equally motivated team and actively engage in supporting colleagues where possible. If you wanted to put a label on it, ENFP would suffice. Outside of work, my preferred sport is fencing, in which I have earned a gold medal or two for sticking people with the pointy end. If I don't have a sword in my hand then I'm likely striking a yoga pose somewhere.
