I started my executive career in CFO roles, managing the finances of some of the world’s largest international organisations. Over the past 25 years, I have enjoyed working in commercial and strategic roles, as well as consulting engagements, in both the public and private sectors spanning wealth management, government reform and financial technology. From this experience comes a deep understanding of global markets and the legislative, compliance and technological frameworks that operate in different jurisdictions. I enjoy coming up with innovative approaches to wealth creation and preservation at the intersection of finance and technology. Since 2017 I’ve been working in venture capital, both as a personal investor globally and through the Seed Space vehicles in Australia. One of my favourite parts of this work is using my executive experience and consulting background to help our portfolio companies grow, manage change, and capitalise on diversification opportunities. I have a particular interest and expertise in financial systems and relish the complex sets of problems – and opportunities – they present to both startups and more established companies. I see integrity as paramount, and I feel very fortunate to be able to dive into the daily variety that fintech venture capital presents. Working with an international team of intelligent, energetic individuals, I love developing businesses and supporting them to achieve outstanding results.
